UH-OH Wines

The Brief: This was a personal project that I created for myself in between projects. As an illustrator I’m a big advocate of the fun and creative label illustrations you see on various craft beer labels, however I noticed there was a severe lack of this in the wine industry. So I set out to design some labels that were a little more fun and ‘low brow’ in an attempt to break the mould and hopefully create something a little different.

These labels were all drawn digitally on the ipad using Procreate before being printed and applied by hand to some blank wine bottles. In addition I decided to use actual photographs of the products instead of using computer generated mockups, to give the brand a more genuine and DIY feel.
