Platform coffee

The Brief: Platform coffee is a small coffee stop located just next to Hackney Central station in East London. They commissioned me to create a mural that was colourful and eye catching but also advertised their presence to the local commuters passing the station entrance.

As they were a speciality coffee shop, I wanted to put the main focus on a beautifully poured flat white complete with latte art, however to make the composition more interesting I used a vibrant colour palette and added in some geometric shapes and layered patterns.

The mural was painted using acrylic paints offsite and then transported to site to be fitted and finished with an anti-graffiti coating.
